Bartender / Server – Fine Dining Restaurant
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and polished Bartender/Server to join our high-end dining team. This role requires a strong understanding of upscale service standards, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to deliver a refined guest experience. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable in food, wine, and craft cocktails, with a passion for hospitality and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide elevated, attentive, and personalized service to guests in accordance with fine dining standards
- Prepare and serve premium cocktails, wine, and beverages with precision and consistency
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of menu offerings, including ingredients, preparation methods, and pairings
- Guide guests through menu selections, making thoughtful recommendations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar and service area
- Coordinate seamlessly with kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure timely service
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve concerns with professionalism and discretion
- Process orders and payments accurately using POS systems
- Uphold all health, safety, and alcohol service regulations
Qualifications
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a high-end or fine dining environment
- Strong knowledge of classic and modern cocktails, wine, and spirits
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to multitask and perform in a fast-paced, upscale environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to excellence
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Knowledge of hospitality standards in luxury or upscale dining is an asset
Preferred Skills
- Wine certification (WSET, CMS, or equivalent) is an asset
- Experience with Asian or fusion cuisine service is considered a strong advantage
- Familiarity with high-end POS systems and inventory management
