Start Date:

• ASAP 
• 20 weeks 

Shift:

• 12 Hour Nights
• every other weekend/holiday
• 48 hours

Requirements:

• South Dakota or compact RN license
• 2 years PCU experience
• BLS
• ACLS
• NIHSS (for some units)
• ONS Chemotherapy Cert – preferred (for oncology unit)
• Epic experience
• Adults with a variety of diagnoses including CHF, ARF, hepatitis, ESLD, DM, DKA, pneumonia, sepsis, GI bleed, syncope, chest pain, pulmonary emboli, respiratory failure, COPD, arrhythmias, seizure disorders, overdose, and delirium tremors
• cardiac and vasoactive drip titration, Cardiac rhythm interpretation, IV starts, Blood product administration, CIWA, drain/tube management, indwelling and straight catheter insertion/management, insulin drips - both DKA and non-DKA, continuous bladder irrigation, chest tube maintenance; Effective verbal and written communication, thorough physical assessments, strong clinical judgement, professional bedside manner, strong team player, positive attitude, adaptability
