Staffmax Healthcare is seeking a Mammography Technologist to work in Homer, AK.

Start Date:

  • 2024-04-29T00:00:00.000Z or two weeks after offer.

Shift:
  • Days, Full-Time 40 hours per week, day shift.


Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years of current experience Mammography Technologist unless otherwise discussed by recruiter.
  • AK license is required

RequiredBe at least eighteen 18 years of age.Possess a high school diploma or GED.Be at least eighteen 18 years of age.Possess a high school diploma or GEDSuccessfully completed an AMA approved Radiologic Technologist training course. Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.Maintain registration with the ARRT on an annual basis.Be certified in the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist specialty of Mammography. Have at least eight hours of mammography specific training in digital mammography and eight hours of digital breast tomosynthesis specific training with recent experience working in Mammography and general Radiology.Keep current with CEU credits as required by the ARRT and Mammography specific CEU credits as required by ACR and MQSA. Demonstrated ability to lift up to 50 pounds without self injury as well as ability to walk and stand for prolonged periods of time including stooping and sitting.


Prior to start date you will need the following sent to the recruiter and credentialing:
  • Resume without time gaps and education notated.
  • References from 2 supervisors in past year (updated yearly).
  • Two forms of ID; one must be a photo ID
  • Photo for Badge ID without filters on white background
  • Immunization Documentation; Covid, Flu (current season), HEP B, MMR, TDaP, Varicella
  • Current Yearly Physical
  • TB TEST; Two step or Quantiferon as requested by facility.
  • BLS and any other certifications required of professional: AHA Preferred and often required
  • Skills Checklist and Competency Exams
  • Background Check and Urine Drug Screens are ordered after receiving job offers
  • Credentialing will require other documentation.
  • Must be fully credentialed prior to start date.
