Salary

  • Pay is dependent on Licensing and Experience ***TGC is grant-based, no flexibility in offered salary***
  • Salary $50,018 - $68,659 (Salary based on experience, range is New Grad to 16+ Years)

  • Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m.,
  • Develop schedule with supervisor and work at least 4 hours each week after 5:00.
  • Full-time staff must provide 23 hours of billable service per week.
Requirements:
  • THIS IS A Children's Outpatient Therapist POSTION. ACCEPTABLE LICENSURES ARE LLMSW, LMSW, LLPC or LPC or TLLP or LLP with the State of Michigan)**** Candidates must have ONE of listed licensures to be considered.
  • Must have a Master’s Degree or higher and be a psychologist (TLLP, LLP, or LP), licensed master’s social worker (LMSW) or limited licensed master’s social worker (LLMSW) supervised by a licensed master’s social worker, licensed professional counselor (LPC) or limited licensed professional counselor (LLPC) currently in the state of Michigan.
  • Full license (LMSW, LP, or LPC) preferred. Or must hold state licensure (LLMSW, LLPC, TLLP, LMSW, LPC, LLP).
  • Failure to obtain licensure within the training period will result in the employee being unqualified to perform the function. Beyond the training period, all state licensure must continually remain active, in effect, and free from disciplinary action. Must possess and retain current licensure in the State of Michigan.
  • Must also meet Michigan Department of Community Health requirements for a Child Mental Health Professional (CMHP) within 120 days of hire.
  • Must have acceptable MDHHS Central Registry and criminal background check clearance.
  • One year of experience in the examination, evaluation and treatment of minors and their families - Required.
  • Electronic medical record experience - Preferred. Proficient with use of computer, (including email, word processing, excel spreadsheets, and databases, etc.) experience with electronic medical preferred.
  • Additional requirements include: cultural competency, ability to work effectively with a diverse population, the ability to engage and maintain therapeutic relationships with children and families in a variety of modes of treatment, the ability to develop collaborative relationships with other unit staff and providers, effective communication skills, and a willingness to be flexible.
  • Cannot accept candidates who are on student/work visas, and/or require sponsorship to work in the U.S. at this time.
