Staffmax Healthcare is seeking a Psychiatry Social Worker to work in Southgate, MI.
Start Date:
- 2024-03-11T00:00:00.000Z or two weeks after offer.
Shift: - Days, Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m., with a minimum of one late evening shift per week. Additional hours could be expected including evening and weekends.
Requirements: - Minimum of 2 years of current experience Psychiatry Social Worker unless otherwise discussed by recruiter.

onboarded through and agency.Must have a minimum of a Master’s degree in social work psychology or counseling. Must possess and retain current Master's licensure by the State of Michigan: LMSW LLP or LPC. Must have at least one 1 year experience in examining evaluating and
treating children and adolescents with intellectual and developmental
disability diagnoses and utilizing relevant treatment modalities.
Must have some leadership or supervisory experience.
Must meet the requirements for Children’s Mental Health Professional CMHP within 120 days of hire. Must have valid driver’s license and favorable driving record. Cannot accept candidates who are on student/work visas and/or require sponsorship to work in the U.S. at this time.
Prior to start date you will need the following sent to the recruiter and credentialing: - Resume without time gaps and education notated.
- References from 2 supervisors in past year (updated yearly).
- Two forms of ID; one must be a photo ID
- Photo for Badge ID without filters on white background
- Immunization Documentation; Covid, Flu (current season), HEP B, MMR, TDaP, Varicella
- Current Yearly Physical
- TB TEST; Two step or Quantiferon as requested by facility.
- BLS and any other certifications required of professional: AHA Preferred and often required
- Skills Checklist and Competency Exams
- Background Check and Urine Drug Screens are ordered after receiving job offers
- Credentialing will require other documentation.
- Must be fully credentialed prior to start date.
