Staffmax Healthcare is seeking a Paramedic to work in Norman, OK.

Start Date:

  • 2024-03-18T00:00:00.000Z or two weeks after offer.

Shift:
  • Required to work at least 10 24 - hour shifts a month.


Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years of current experience Paramedic unless otherwise discussed by recruiter.
  • OK license is required

Must have and maintain a current Oklahoma Paramedic License - Required***NO EMT CANDIDATES.***Minimum requirement is completion of the requirements for licensure DOT curriculum paramedic program recognized by the Oklahoma State Department of health in accordance with EMS regulations which allows individual to sit for the State and National Registry exams for licensure as an EMT.Must be at least 21 years of age in order to be insured by NRH carrier. - RequiredMust possess a valid driver’s license. - RequiredBLS - RequiredACLS - RequiredPALS - RequiredPediatric Education for Pre-hospital Professionals PEPP training is required within 9 months of hire.


Prior to start date you will need the following sent to the recruiter and credentialing:
  • Resume without time gaps and education notated.
  • References from 2 supervisors in past year (updated yearly).
  • Two forms of ID; one must be a photo ID
  • Photo for Badge ID without filters on white background
  • Immunization Documentation; Covid, Flu (current season), HEP B, MMR, TDaP, Varicella
  • Current Yearly Physical
  • TB TEST; Two step or Quantiferon as requested by facility.
  • BLS and any other certifications required of professional: AHA Preferred and often required
  • Skills Checklist and Competency Exams
  • Background Check and Urine Drug Screens are ordered after receiving job offers
  • Credentialing will require other documentation.
  • Must be fully credentialed prior to start date.
