Staffmax Healthcare is seeking a Long Term Care Licensed Vocational Nurse to work in Kane, PA.

Start Date:

  • 2024-05-06T00:00:00.000Z or two weeks after offer.

Shift:
  • Nights, Evening 6PM - 6AM // Two days on // Two days off // Three days on // 84-hours biweekly pay period


Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years of current experience Long Term Care Licensed Vocational Nurse unless otherwise discussed by recruiter.
  • PA license is required

Must possess knowledge of: medical asepsis body mechanics personal care of residents correct use and care of equipment observation techniques reporting and recording thorough knowledge of nursing theory and it's applicationMust be willing to possess knowledge of and comply with regulations policies procedures contracts and philosophy of the institutionMust maintain a courteous and professional manner toward residents visitors and co-workers and a dedication to meet the needs of the elderlyMust have awareness of cost containment utilize time fully and properly care for equipmentMust possess ability to accept and follow written and verbal directivesMust utilize good communication and observation skills


Prior to start date you will need the following sent to the recruiter and credentialing:
  • Resume without time gaps and education notated.
  • References from 2 supervisors in past year (updated yearly).
  • Two forms of ID; one must be a photo ID
  • Photo for Badge ID without filters on white background
  • Immunization Documentation; Covid, Flu (current season), HEP B, MMR, TDaP, Varicella
  • Current Yearly Physical
  • TB TEST; Two step or Quantiferon as requested by facility.
  • BLS and any other certifications required of professional: AHA Preferred and often required
  • Skills Checklist and Competency Exams
  • Background Check and Urine Drug Screens are ordered after receiving job offers
  • Credentialing will require other documentation.
  • Must be fully credentialed prior to start date.
