Salary

  • PAID BY PLACEMENT not hourly!
  • Permanent Per Diem RN Position; Hours not guaranteed
  • PICC Insertion- $175
  • Midline Insertion- $150
  • Extended Dwell Insertion- $125
  • Peripheral IV- $100

ROLE

  • The PICC Line Nurse will assess and perform an overall evaluation of the patient.
  • Responsible for placement of the line and ensure the line placement is correctly inserted.
  • PER DIEM PICC NURSES ARE PAID BY PLACEMENT.
  • PLACEMENT FEES ARE LISTED ABOVE.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate Degree in Nursing
  • Current RN (Registered Nursing) VA or compact License
  • PICC Certification
  • Current BLS certification
  • COVID 19 Vaccinated Required
  • 2 years of OR, IR, or PICC insertion experience.
  • Must have good knowledge base for caring for central venous catheters.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills

Position Summary

  • Assess and perform an overall evaluation of the patient.
  • Responsible for placement of the line and ensure the line placement is correctly inserted.
  • Provides education to patient and facility about the PICC (or midline) insertion and the care and maintenance issues post insertion
  • Utilize own vehicle and will be paid .32/mile after the first 50 of each day
  • Patient Population: Adult only
  • PICC Nurse would travel to Nursing Homes and Acute Care Hospitals to provide services.
