A reliable and detail-oriented Machine Operator is needed for a 5-month contract in Chicago, IL. This role is essential to daily production operations of a client  company and is well suited for individuals who are mechanically inclined, safety-focused, and take pride in producing quality work.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate production or packaging machinery in a safe and efficient manner

• Monitor machine performance and adjust settings as needed to meet quality standards

• Inspect finished products to ensure accuracy and compliance with specifications

• Perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting

• Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations

• Complete production records, logs, and shift reports accurately

• Follow all workplace safety policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs)

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating manufacturing or production equipment

• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail

• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs

• Safety-minded with a good understanding of machine operation standards

• Dependable, punctual, and able to work well in a team environment
