General Labourer

Job Overview:
Our client is seeking dependable and hardworking General Laborers to support day-to-day operations at their job site in Chicago. This role is ideal for individuals who are physically fit, safety-minded, and ready to contribute to a fast-paced work environment. General Laborers will assist with a variety of tasks to ensure projects are completed efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities:

Load, unload, and move materials and equipment as required

Assist skilled trades and supervisors with on-site tasks

Perform basic construction, warehouse, or site support duties

Operate basic hand tools and equipment safely

Maintain clean, organized, and hazard-free work areas

Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)

Support setup, teardown, demolition, or cleanup activities as needed

Report safety concerns, damaged equipment, or hazards to supervisors
Qualifications & Requirements:

Previous general labor, construction, or warehouse experience is an asset

Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting up to 50lbs

Comfortable standing, bending, kneeling, and working outdoors when required

Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions

Strong teamwork and communication skills

Steel-toe safety boots required
