Job Overview
Staffmax is seeking a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team at a high-end Asian restaurant. The ideal candidate will help maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment while supporting the culinary team during busy service hours.
Responsibilities
- Wash dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment promptly and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and dishwashing areas
- Empty garbage and recycling containers as needed
- Assist with basic kitchen cleaning duties, including floors, counters, and storage areas
- Support kitchen staff with maintaining an organized workspace
- Follow all food safety and health regulations
Qualifications
- Previous dishwashing or kitchen experience is considered an asset
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Must be dependable and punctual
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weight
- Must speak Spanish or be bilingual (Spanish and English preferred)
Schedule
- Hours and start times vary based on restaurant needs
- Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when required
