About the Role
Staffmax Staffing & Recruiting is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Operator to join our client’s manufacturing team in Chicago, Illinois. The ideal candidate will have experience operating CNC machinery and a strong focus on precision and quality production.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machines according to production specifications
- Load raw materials and monitor machine operations
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and job orders
- Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards
- Perform routine maintenance and minor troubleshooting on equipment
- Adjust machine settings to maintain product accuracy
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Follow all company safety protocols and procedures
Requirements
- Previous experience as a CNC Operator or in a machining environment
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
- Strong attention to detail and measurement accuracy
- Familiarity with CNC machinery and tools
- Basic math and problem-solving skills
- Ability to stand for long periods and work in a manufacturing setting
- Team-oriented with good communication skills
