Job Summary:
The Busser plays a crucial role in supporting the front-of-house team by ensuring tables are clean, properly set, and guest areas are maintained to the highest standards. This role is fast-paced and requires attention to detail, efficiency, and a team-oriented mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clear and reset tables promptly and efficiently while maintaining a polished appearance.
- Assist servers in delivering food and beverages to tables when needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, including floors, chairs, and service stations.
- Refill water, condiments, and other table necessities as requested.
- Assist with setting up and breaking down the dining room before and after service.
- Ensure proper disposal of trash and recyclables in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with the service team to provide a seamless and exceptional guest experience.
- Adhere to all restaurant policies, hygiene, and safety standards.
Requirements:
- Prior experience as a busser or in a restaurant environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
- Physically able to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to [20–30 lbs] for extended periods.
